Day one was really interesting… I left Ridgewood, Queens at 7am and started my long journey. Now I have set my logistics and mapped out my route almost two years ago but I won’t know it will turn out until I actually follow the route.

Getting out of New York was the easy part. I took the Lincoln tunnel and found my self in Jersey City. There is something. Really wrong about New Jersey and I’ve always complained that the  NJ turnpike is the worst since you get lost so easy with the exits and entry ways. To my surprise it’s the same with their local roads…. Not to mention that google maps was also leading me to some rough roads for a bike path. I probably would say I was wondering around a good 2 hours. The only savior to this was at some point in a road that it was so desolate and farms I even ran out of gas…. Yes with a 4 gallon gas tank strapped in I did not consider gassing it before I leave. I tried to hitch hike since the next gas station is about a mile away. To no avail no one stopped. In desperation I went door to door with the farms to see if they can spare me a liter or two and good thing Alfred came to the rescue. He was puzzled at how I would run out of gas even if I had an extra tank. I told him I’ll him 5 dollars for the last Hal gallon he had and told me don’t bother “Let’s go to your scooter and fill er up”

Safety while using the device: As the penis pumping purchase cialis goes on, you will eventually accustomed to the feeling of sadness. Your company provides a great service, and online viagra as far as I can tell I’ll need this drug forever. Now, the patent of Pfizer has gone and thus the female cialis online has become cheap. This company sildenafil generic viagra founded the mechanical dynamometer in 1937 which helped a lot in the overload protection. Upon looking at the scooter he asked what was it? So I told him that the scooter was a 150cc and I can reach about 70-80 miles on one fill-up. I told him a little bit of my journey ahead and ask him if I can take a picture with you so I can post it. He declined and told me just be careful next time.

I always expected that I’ll run into some trouble and people may or may not help me. What am more surprised are the bikers I pass along. In NYC motorist have to focus on the road and just avoid things at the same time. We don’t have time to greet or even wave. Outside NYC thought it totally different. Every motorcyclist I pass by would give me a wave, a peace, a fist, a low five, I don’t even know sometimes how to respond but just raise my hand. But this was fun doing so. It shows some road camaraderie for bikers

I knew I was already behind schedule and decided not to teak a break. Getting close to my destination I hit a road that’s local but had a 55 speed limit I was pushing the bike close to 50 mph and after about 5 min on the road a saw a cruiser tailing me. In my head I was thinking “I should push this faster I don’t want to get pulled over for being slow.” A minute I was thinking he should pass me by now but he didn’t…. Next thing I knew he turned on his lights and tailed me. Seeing this I slowed down and halted to a stop. Turned of my engine and waited for him to approach me. He greets me “How are you doing today?” I answered back “am fine officer. How can I help you?” He told me that couldn’t see my plates and had to stop me and see also what kind of motorcycle I was in. My plates were almost covered in mud since I’ve been hitting some rough road. I explained him and he said no just wanted to see what motorcycle is this. So I told him am driving across the states and he was so surprised. He gave me his support and told me “Just make sure your plates are clean because if I stopped other cops will too and since your motorcycle is odd they will just stop to check it.” I thank him for the advice and asked direction for my camp ground. He pointed the direction and told me it’s only about another 10 minutes. I thank him and told him to follow my site and support in which he gave me a smile and told me good luck.

Upon reaching my camp site I registered at their office. And was told about the amenities. Knowing I can opt out for the electricity, the difference was only 6 dollars, so why not. I really wanted to go off the grid with my gear but it’s too many things to charge at the same time I rather have a grid operated ones for the heavy chargers.

I unpacked my pack and set up my tent. Looking online there are no grocery stores around so I have to end up buying cup noodles and some jerky. I devised a plan to make my water by boiling it and make use of the heat also for my noodles. But inexperience just kicks in. The office closed and I didn’t realize I bought wood and I have a 4 gallon gas tank but I have no matches. I might have lost it or left it…. Most probably I’ll have to bum for a light now….

Tomorrow I would need to leave like 10am since their office does not open early this means I won’t have enough daylight for tomorrow. I’ll have to figure it out. Am heading to Philadelphia tomorrow and then another 3 hours to reach a campsite.
